Trying to open a new "@sbcglobal.net" email account
I've been trying for much of the day to create a new email account under the "SBC Global" client name, but have been having some trouble in doing so. I even had a Live Chat with an AT&T agent, hoping he could walk me through it, but he wasn't as much help as I would have hoped. Basically, I was given the option to go with an "@att.com" account, or an "@yahoo.com" account, but for some odd reason, not "@sbcglobal.net" despite having three email accounts under that domain name.
Is AT&T not offering that client name for emails anymore? Or is there a way I can register a new account with that address of which I am currently unaware? I would prefer to stick with "@sbcglobal.net" for the new account, as it is easier for me to keep track of all y accounts if they happen to come from the same client.
Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give me!

Hi @donfami,
Thanks for reaching out to the community forums with your question. Go forward legacy domains are no longer being offered for new email ID's. All new email ID's will have the ATT.net domain. We apologized if this causes any inconvenience.
regards,
