Sub-Account: Edit Profile Details

How can I change the password on a sub-account?

I have had sbcglobal.net email sub-accounts for many, many years that are still in use.  One of them never wrote down their password. Now they need it.  I'm on the Sub-Account: Edit Profile Details page. I see my Account Owner name and number, and all of my sub-accounts. When I click on Edit for one of the sub-accounts, it takes me to a new page, where it says "This subaccount is linked to a user ID. You don't have permission to edit the password."

Hi @curtisn9092, we are happy to help with changing your password on your email account.

AT&T is making your email experience more secure.

  • A part of this change is a prompt requesting you re-enter your password which may affect your ability to sign-in to your email, especially if you cannot remember your password

If you have a free email account, you can reset the password at our email reset page.

  1. Go to Forgot Password page.
  2. Enter your User Name/ email address.
  3. Enter your Last Name.
  4. Follow the prompts.

To make sure you can always change or reset your password, you’ll want to:

Even though you might get your email at currently.com, you'll always manage your email password on att.com (myAT&T).

Let us know if this helps.

If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!
