Spam "sponsored" messages in my AT&T email
Now that AT&T and Yahoo have completed their split, I keep getting spam "sponsored" messages (mostly from some bank, I think) at the top of my page of messages when I log into AT&T's web-based email page.
I keep saying "I don't like this ad" but they keep coming back -- often several times within an hour, every time I return to that page after reading a real email.
I gather that it doesn't matter to AT&T whether we like having our inboxes crammed with ads; it will keep shoving them down our throats.
Maybe an incentive to go to the work of informing my contacts that I will move to Gmail.
But if there's a way to make those ads go away permanently, I'd just as soon not spend that time.
