Search email tool in Yahoo email not working

The Search email tool in Yahoo email for my ATT account is no longer working. It does not find emails from senders that are clearly in my "In Box," and does not find key words either. It does not work if I am using Chrome v. 42.0 or Internet Explorer 9. Advanced earch does not work either. It either returns no results, or a cople of random emails from the past day or two.

This worked fine until recently, but something changed in the past couple of weeks and this essential feature is no longer functioning.

I am having the same problem...I cannot search for emails that are clearly in my inbox or sent box. The only ones that come up in a search are those that were sent within the past day. This is extremely frustrating. I really need to be able to search for emails...my business depends on it. I hope this problem will be resolved soon or I really don't know what I will do!

is there any way we can flag a customer care representative or someone to help with this issue?

Yes, mine has been haywire since April...I've been thinking it was something I did, but it is certainly not working and driving me crazy!  Anyone get theirs fixed yet???

Same problem. I spent two hours on the chat customer service feature last week when the problem first started. They were completely unhelpful and just told me to do all the things I had already tried: empty cache, reset, try in other browsers---none of which worked. Then, suddenly, a few days later out of the blue it started working again. Now, again, it is not! When I persisted that they needed to fix this they said it was a problem that "yahoo was working studiously to fix." But it is still a problem and is critical for me in my work that the search funtion is fixed.

Mine starting working again one week after it stopped working and it has worked since then.  I did not do anything to fix it.

I did spend time chatting online with AT&T reps.  One even took remote control of my PC and attempted to fix it but was unable to do anything.  His response was "contact Yahoo" but if you try to contact Yahoo through their website, you get an automatic message that says that all your support must come through AT&T since you are an AT&T customer.  I don't think that the AT&T support reps are able to fix this and apparently there is no line of communication between Yahoo and AT&T to resolve problems like this.  When I explained to the last rep that I couldn't contact Yahoo, I was told that a supervisor would call me within 20 minutes after we disconnected our chat to get me in touch with Yahoo.  That didn't happen...

Thanks for the post! Yes, when mine started mysteriously working I was very relieved but now it isn't again. Very frustrating. And the runaround you experienced was similar to mine. Not sure what to do now. I might have to switch servers. I do not want to use their ATT conec service to pay them for something that should be resolved without further cost to the consumer. I may call to try to speak to a supervisor but have already lost so much time on this.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Well, here we are on May 31st, nothing correctional seems to be accomplished. This is a great feature I rely on aLOT for personal and business. Far as I can tell, this seems to be a "not finding anything" day. I'm on an att.net account.  NEED  THIS! let's keep posting updates....

Yes, I have still not heard of a fix. It is getting really critical for my work and I may have to change carriers. It seems that everyone has nearly exhausted our options to communicate with att tech. Not sure what to do but persist. Very frustrating.
