Reactivate old @sbcglobal.net account long enough to recover data

My family had @sbcglobal.net email addresses until around 2004, provided at that time by Yahoo if I remember correctly.

Is there any way for me to log into my old address and recover the emails in the inbox and sent box? I would be willing to pay to reinstate the account for a month. I'll provide whatever proof of ID is needed to reinstate the service, and to reset my password if it is not the one I remember.
