My email is deactivated and they say it can't be recovered
Hello there. I've had an sbcglobal email for about 27 years. Today when I tried to log in it said due to security concerns, I have to change my password. Not great, but ok. Then when I tried to reset my password it said after I entered it, and my last name it said "we don't have enough info to reset your password" and to call them to do it.
After 3 hours of chats and phone calls, they concluded that they can't access my email either and that I just have to get a new email. This is insane and crushing, my entire life is in that email account. Not to mention I'm on vacation abroad right now and need the emails I'm being sent about the new regulations and requirements to get back into the U.S.
Is there anyone out there that can help, or at least point me in the right direction to escalate this? I literally have 27 years of my life in there that I can't just scrap.
