Minecraft Port Forwarding Not Working Despite Following All Steps

Hello AT&T Community,

I'm reaching out after hitting a wall with an issue I've been facing: Minecraft port forwarding not working on my network. I've been down the rabbit hole of forum threads, both here and on other sites, trying every recommended solution to get port forwarding to work for my Minecraft server, but to no avail.

In the past, I've successfully set up port forwarding on this device and through the AT&T gateway without any issues. However, this time around, despite following updated steps and suggestions from other posts, port forwarding is not working for Minecraft or any other applications I've tried.

Here's what I've attempted so far:

  • Resetting my gateway to its factory settings and reconfiguring it from scratch.
  • Re-entering port forwarding rules with the exact ports needed for Minecraft, ensuring there are no typos or incorrect settings.
  • Checking firewall settings on both my router and PC to ensure they're not blocking the necessary ports.
  • Restarting my devices (PC, gateway) after making changes to ensure they're applied.

I'm at my wit's end and could really use some fresh suggestions or insights into what might be going wrong. Has anyone else faced similar issues with port forwarding not taking effect, specifically for Minecraft, on the AT&T network?

Any advice or troubleshooting tips that might help me get this sorted would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time and help!
