Locked out of email / no way to reset

My SBC email says I am locked out of my account.  But I didnt even try to log in or type a password wrong, I just opended the email page and got that message before even typing anything. 

 

When I click reset password the only option to reset passwrod is to send an email to the email address that i am LOCKED out of! So there is physically no way for me to reset my password. I had a my phone number as a password reser before and now it is gone. How can prove my identity or whatever i need to do to get access to my email again? 

 

I go to the store and they are not able to help me. They say to forget about the email address and create a new one. How is that possible? All my bank and accounts are connected to that email. Hpw can i get ATT to reset my password and allow me to have access to my email again?
