Locked out of AT&T email account

 I have been locked out of my email account through AT&T because I have entered the password incorrectly more than three times. When I follow the directions that AT&T provides on how to unlock it, I only have two choices: I am asked either answer the security questions or wait for a password to be mailed to me through snail mail. One of the questions in the security questions I cannot remember the answer to. Help!

Being locked out of your account can raise a concern and be problematic.  I understand you need help to access it again.  We have some great resources which may be able to help!


You can check out our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool.  Here, you choose Internet tab > Email Setup and Repair.  Here, you can follow a troubleshooting flow to determine the best resolution for your email!  You can also troubleshoot accessing email.  You can review information for resetting the email password and updating your security questions. This link will provide many resources for your email account.

HELP!!!!

I am locked out of my att.net email that I have had for about 8+years.  It was fine and for some reason two weeks ago it said enter password on my laptop and phone and my password would not work.  My security questions seem to be wrong, or more realistically my account has been breached. Can you please provide steps to get into an email that you have been locked out of - None of support options work, if you are locked out!!  

 

I need to get into it, as this email address is associated with many banking. medical, etc. logins.  I cannot call  - the 800 phone number and I cannot get support.

I have the exact same problem. Unable to access sub-account email. Tried all the suggestions made with no success. There must be someone I can call in ATT that can help me reset my password.

I cannot understand why ATT arbitrarily locked me and others out of our ATT email accounts.  NO I don't have service with att because of things like this.  I have been locked out of my email account since Dec 6 and have been calling every day in a hopeful attempt to get a new pw but att will not give verbal pw because of security reasons; yeah right!  Att brilliant engineers cannot come up with a solution to assist people like me or you.  OK ATT, here's an idea; have the people you arbitrarily locked us out of our email accounts for NO REASON (probably because we don't have att service)  go to an att store and have an att store rep verify who we say we are.  The store rep could contact tech support and a new pw can be issued.
