How to you turn off the website blocking?
Many of my clients or potential clients I do business with websites are being blocked. I don't even get a notification or a chance to APPROVE it. Can I please turn it off or change the settings on it?

Hey msfxandcrypto. Thanks for reaching out to us, and we'd be happy to help with the blocked website that you keep experiencing.
Sometimes a website that you know is say may trigger a blocked notification. If you trust the page, you can select Allow Access to add the site to the exceptions list in the Smart Home Manager app.
If you're unable to add the website to your exceptions list, then you can try disabling internet security through your gateway.
You can do this by:

The best way to disable website blocking is to go into your router settings. Depending on the type of router, the steps may vary. Generally, you need to go into the router's web interface and find the "Security" or "Firewall" section. From there, you'll be able to disable website blocking, which is enabled. I had the same error with a gaming website. If you don't know how to access your router settings, you can refer to your user manual or get help from your internet service provider.

We're here to help address your blocked website concern, @msfxandcrypto.
The internet service we provide will automatically block websites that is detected to be malicious. There isn't a way to know what website that is though unless you yourself have manually entered it in.
If you think the website is being blocked in error though, you should be able to click Allow Access when the notification pops up to access the site.
You can also try to clear your browser history to see if this helps:

We've done all of that before I even reached out. No, it's not working. Again, my profile under Advantage is set to NONE. No sites should be blocked. My Norton can handle that. I just want the security turned off.

Yes, I would mark them approved or allow if I received the notification. I get notice on my phone that 7 sites are blocked. Go to the app and only see that different devices were scanned. Nothing there for me to Approve the site. Ugh.

Hello, msfxandcrypto.
We recommend that you factory reset your gateway, then try to access one of the blocked websites.
If it's blocked, follow the steps to add it to your approved list or to disable Internet security through the gateway.
Be sure to write down any custom settings, like your static IP address if you have one, or your Wi-Fi network name. You can change them back after the factory reset.
Here are the steps:
Keep us posted.
