How to remove wifi network from MacOS list?

I created a WiFi network, then I created another one. I want to delete the first one so it doesn't show up in the macOS list of available networks. I don't want to make each device forget the old network -- I want to delete the old one so that no one (including me) ever sees it again.

Calling Apple would be your best bet for the most accurate info for your model of Apple laptop or mobile device. You mentioned MacOS so I assume it's a laptop and not a mobile device, which would be iOS.

  1. Open System Preferences on your Mac.
  2. Click Network.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
  4. Select the network you want to delete and click the Minus (-) button.
  5. Confirm the removal of the Wi-Fi network by clicking the Remove button.
