Are you a rolling stone?

Can't get no satisfaction?

I do not think sub accounts exist any more

I have some but no way to manage them.

Did you have any luck?

My daughter's e-mail is a sub-account under my sbcglobal e-mail address.  Her account was hacked and we can't reset the password because we have no idea what the answers to the security questions are.  The account was made many years ago, I'm not even sure that we are the ones that selected the security questions and answers.  I would appreciate any assistance as my daughter would like to have access to her account.

Thank you.

If I create a sub-account, can I still use the original account?

Yes, you can still use the original account after creating a subaccount, @sm9492

Here's how to set up a subaccount if you're interested:

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile on a computer or tablet.
  2. Choose Account users.
  3. If you have more than one account, choose the account you want to manage from the dropdown.
  4. Select Manage subaccount users.
  5. Choose Add a sub-account.
  6. Read the Terms & Conditions and select Accept.
  7. Complete the required fields and select Save.

Good to know: If you don’t see Manage subaccount users, make sure you’re signed in with the primary Member ID email.

How subaccounts work:

A subaccount is a Member ID email address set up under the account owner's primary Member ID. Only the account owner can create and manage subaccounts. For example, the account owner would have a primary Member ID email and their spouse or children would have subaccount Member ID emails.

  • You can have up to 20 subaccounts under your primary Member ID email. Only 10 can be active at one time.
  • You can't delete subaccounts, but you can disable them.
  • Subaccount users can manage phone features, get product support, and chat with an agent.
  • The Member ID email for a subaccount won't appear on the bill.
  • You're required to complete a few extra steps if you create a subaccount for a child under the age of 13.

Heads up: If you created a free AT&T email account after June 12, 2011, and you don’t have AT&T Internet or DSL, you can't create subaccounts.
