How to Export Your Contacts from Directv.net Email - A Solution From the AT&T Community

The directv.net email service has been discontinued. For assistance in retrieving your email data, you may contact our advanced email support specialists by emailing: Attnetmail-support@att.com. 

Export your contacts from Directv.net email

Follow the instructions below to export your contacts from your directv.net email. 


1.) Login to your Directv.net email account on the web

2.) Select Preferences in the top bar




3.) The following screen should appear:

4.) Select Import / Export




5.) The following screen should appear:




6.) Select the Contacts radio button

7.) The Contacts format selection drop down should appear




8.) Click on the Contact Type drop-down menu and select Yahoo! Contacts 



9.) Select the Source selector (showing All folders




10.) The following window should appear:

11.) Select Contacts, and then OK 




1 2.)   The following panel should appear.

13.) Select the Export button. 



14.) The following screen should appear.

15.) Select Save File and OK





Move Your Data From Your directv.net email To Your att.net Email
