How do I change my Wi-Fi password?

I've tried several times unsuccessfully to change my Wi-Fi password. The old password seems to be hardwired into the gateway and our devices. Has anyone seen this? Can anyone in the community help?

Good morning, @jnoel1950. That is a great question about changing your Wi-Fi next work name and password. We would love to answer that.

You can change your Wi-Fi network information by using the Smart Home Manager. Please use these steps:

  1. Sign in to Smart Home Manager.
  2. Scroll to the My Wi-Fi card and choose Change next to the name or password.
  3. Select X to clear existing info, then enter a new name or password.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Reconnect your devices with the updated network info.

You can find the steps above and more information by using our Change Your Wi-Fi Network Information support article.

If there is anything else that you need, please reach out us again.

I have the same question.  How do I change my AT&T Wi-Fi name and password?
Can this be done in the SmartHome app or in the online SmartHome manager?  I have a BGW320 router.
Thanks.
