Getting junk email addressed to unknown / invalid account

I keep getting junk / spam email address to an ATT.net account with same name as my bellsouth.net account. The account is not mine and comes up as invalid when I try to sign in to it - to try and delete it. Any help with stopping the junk mail appreciated.

The issue I am having is not a spam issue per se.  On a daily basis I receive unsolicited (junk) email which has been sent to an [email scrubbed] account that I do not own but shows up in my [email scrubbed] account.  The [email scrubbed] account is not valid as I have tried to log in to it and delete it.

My question is how do I delete the ID or block the emails fro the [email scrubbed] account.

These are not solutions to my problem. I will try and explain the issue one again.  I am receiving spam/junk emails in my bellsouth.net account.  They are addressed, not my bellsouth.net account but to the same name (before the @) att.net.
Example: my account is [email scrubbed] and the spam emails are addressed to [email scrubbed].
The [email scrubbed] account is not mine and is NOT a valid account as I have tried to log in to it in order to delete it.

How do I stop the spam emails from appearing in my [email scrubbed] account?
