Free email att.net issue with subaccount

Hello, I'm able to access my main account. Under profile going to sub account I am not able to reset a subaccount password as it indicates my User ID is not allowed, which does not seem right coming in from the main account profile.  Also there is challenge trying to setup access to subaccount email and I have exhausted tried and dialog states to seek AT&T operator.  Thank you
