We are here to help you set up your email, @Snapdog822.

Here is more information on how to set up an email account using Outlook. There is a drop down menu that lets you choose what version of Outlook that you are using, and it provide you with all the settings that you need.

Also, we recommend that you set up a Secure Mail Key after you have finished with your set up in Outlook. This is a 16 digit passcode that will replace your current password, and it helps protect against hackers and fraudsters. It is required in order for your email to work properly.

Let us know if this helps.

I can't get through this setup. I enter my email address, choose IMAP, enter my password and see this:

Hey, @Snapdog822!

Have you tried doing the setup using a different device?

Are you able to log into your email normally?

Looking forward to getting this resolved!

Does not work on my phone either (Android email). Internet access (mail.yahoo.com) works OK.

Let's help get your email setup in outlook, @Snapdog822.

  • Are you using a Mac or Windows computer?
  • What version of OS are you using and which version of outlook are you using?

We recommend setting up the secure mail key before adding the email into outlook. This is due to enhanced security of AT&T Mail and you are required to use either OAuth or a secure mail key to get your email through an app.

Let us know if this helps get you into your email or if you need further assistance.

I just finally managed to get Outlook 365 to work with my snet.net mail address. I signed in to my ATT account online and somehow found the page to create a secure mail key. I then added the snet.net account to Outlook 365 by letting it automatically get the settings and using the secure mail key as my password.
