Good Morning @Diver112,
Welcome to the Community Forums! I can understand receiving an email like this would concern you. I would be happy to assist you with this.
On or shortly after April 1, 2018, AT&T email users will no longer be able to use an email application to send or receive AT&T email without using OAuth or a secure mail key. There are three articles you can utilize for questions on this.
•att.com/oauth: Security upgrade detail with links to FAQs regarding the secure mail key and direct access to TS&R.
•att.com/smk: Create a secure mail key.
•ufix.att.com: Sign in and select Email Setup and Repair > Setup or Update Email Application > either First Time or Update Existing Setup.
I hope this helps. Have a great day.
