Email Password Refused
I have been working with a client of mine who has been having troubles with his @att.net email address.
Yesterday Outlook rejected the password. I checked all of the settings and everything looks good. I also recreated the account on my own computer, same result. He CAN still send and receive email from his phone.
The password was not changed according to my client. However, when logging into webmail at "https://login.yahoo.com" it states "Invalid password. Please try again"
When selecting "I forgot my password" I receive the error: "Uh-oh... Looks like we can't recover your account online. Please visit our help site to get back in."
I visit the help site at: "https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?page=home&locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT"
I select "Account" from the drop down -> [enter email address] -> click "Get started" -> Click "see product-related help articles" -> click "sign-in helper" -> [enter email address] -> then I get the following error code: "We're Having A Problem" "Something isn't working right. Give it some time and try again. (Error code:652314)"
Email was working until yesterday. Help would be appreciated.

You should be logging into start.att.net and accessing mail from there by clicking Mail in the upper right.

It should indirect to a url which starts with https://loginprodx.att.net/commonLogin...
Try relaunching the browser. And/or try using a different browser as an experiment for comparison.

Is it possible you have a set of merged yahoo and att accounts? If so I believe you need to unmerge them.

Thank you for the quick replies. Using a different browser did forward me to the correct address. I am attempting to reset the password now and will get back to you soon.
As for the article, I have dealt with that before and will take a look once I have access to the account again.

Noproblem, did the change in browser really solve your problem??? If so, what browser worked? I've been having the same kind of problem and I haven't found any way into my email since last Tuesday.

I tried this and I am unable to get into my yahoo account so it sent info on how to reset password and get user id to my yahoo account that I can't get into. Tried to put in a new account and still won't work. Got a number from ATT for yahoo support tech. I called them and they said I had to pay 110.00 dollars for security patch to fix my account. Then later they advised if I paid 200.00 more they could get my yahoo account back up and running. There were people over seas using my account. I told them I don't have 200.00 and they will not refund my 110.00. I told them yahoo was a free site and how could they charge people. They said they are security and have to pay the tech's. After everything is completed they will completely refund my money. LOL that's a joke. People over in India just are scammers. Using names like Ricky, Jerry and etc. when their real names are something else. Any one have any other help they could share?

same problem. been using my att.net email for years. just stopped working for no reason. won't let me reset password either.
when I go to reset password to my user name, it just sits there and never leaves that page? tried many times with the same result. Why would it just decide to stop working? also get the "uh-oh"
I'm shuting down everything I have associated with att. internet, phone, cable etc. Not having access to my emails is causing me so many problems you can't even imagine!!!
