Email not working in Apple Mail
For many years, up until about 2 weeks ago, I used Apple Mail on my iphone and my Macbook Pro to access my yahoo.com email address. For some reason it started rejecting my login about 2 weeks ago. It give me the message
"Your account has been locked from too many failed logins. Please contact AT&T Operator".
I contacted an operator, and basically all they could do was help me reset my password.
I can access my email using a web browser at either att.net or yahoo.com...both sites recognize my login and password. But, when I use Apple Mail, I still get the same message saying my account has been locked (which it hasn't).
Any ideas?

Hey, @kwag. We'd be happy to help you get into your email using Apple Mail.
What is the domain (@att.net, etc.) of your email address? If it's one of ours, we'd recommend running through the Email Setup & Repair section of the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. This should help make sure it's up to date, and ready to work with Apple Mail. You could also check out our article on Email Troubleshooting for a list of potential solutions.
