Email issues

Last week, around 29 March I started having poblems receiving emails on my iPad with the error message "Cannot Get Mail, The mail server "imap.mail.att.net" is not responding. Verify that youi have entered the correct accountinfo in Mail settings. I have not changed my mail settings (Incoming mail server - imap.mail.att.net with server port 993 and Outgoing mail server - smtp.mail.att.net and I don't know why I keep getting this error message when email worked last week.

@ATTHelp Hello Sean, I am replying for my wife as she could not sign in and after multiple tries the "Forgot password" link was not delivering a reset email. One thing omitted in the original email is she can receive emails on her laptop as well as I can on my iPhone. We followed your guidance with no luck - no unsent mail in outbox. What are the proper (POP, Imap or Stmp) settings she should be using. Thank you.

PS - anyway of finding out what happened to the password reset mails sent by AT&T but not received?
