What changes might we expect after the sale of Yahoo to Verizon is final?

Its on my phone from 8/30/2017 but i can not access it on my lap top. I need help, it was a $70.00 program and I need it on my lap top not my phone.

Very informative, but not for the problem I am having. Since 10/24/17 I am unable to logon to my Yahoo e-mail. I know that Yahoo joined Verizon, but AT&T insist that our old e-mail at Yahoo would still be working. Well it does not. At&T keeps on asking me for the AT&T logon and password that I have forgotten after more then 18 years to be your customer.

Please where do I go or where can I call to have my problem resolved. I used to be on sbcglobal.net could someone help me to find my AT&T logon and password, and help me to regain my Yahoo email.

Thank you Lidia Guaschi Forrer

Good afternoon @Calamia.

I appreciate you reaching out to us on the Community Forums.  I know the importance of finding the right solution to a difficult issue.  I would be happy to direct you to the right place.

I have a solution to recover your logon and password.  We have a great eSupport article which addresses how to reset your email password.  I hope you are able to recover your account, and please have a great start to your weekend.

Dear Sir,

Thank you so much for the note and the nice words about I being able to retrieve my password. I have tried the impossible, and someone beside AT&T is trying to get money from me insisting that he could fix my problem.

I did not know that AT&T split from Yahoo......so now I am unable to logon to my e-mail if I do not provide the information required. I keep on getting from AT&T the error #652314, that sincerely I do not know what it means.

I only use my computer for e-mails. I will try your suggested site, and hopefully someone will be able to help.

Thank you once more for the reply and the help.

Sincerely,

Tutor

My sbcglobal.net account, tied to a yahoo.com seems to have been decoupled. I can not access my emails or folders and I’m at my wits ends. Att tells me that Verizon now owns yahoo. Yahoo tells me to contact att. Att tells me that Yahoo!’s servers are down. I am in a perpetual loop and need help. All I need is to access my folders so I can move info and put an out of office message aapprising people how to contact me go forward

The unmerge has really messed up my email. Yes, I can now still access all my email, but it's all in the wrong place. All my mail comes to the sbcglobal.net address, but because ATT had their unholy alliance with Yahoo, I had to access the mail through Yahoo's servers. I have a half dozen other addresses with @sbcglobal.net and @att.net. Only one of them was 'merged' with a yahoo.com address. Post unmerge, all but one account is still accessed through the same signins on the yahoo server and contain all past and present (new) emails, filters, subfolders etc. These are the ones that had no yahoo association.

The one with the yahoo association, they left all the historical emails, filters, subfolders on an account accessed through the @yahoo.com signin. They then started a brand new clean and empty account with the sbcglobal signin and is where the new email is coming to. This is backwards from what I need! I need all the old stuff, and the new, to come to the sbcglobal signin, and a new blank yahoo.com signin.
Spent an hour on chat then phone support and never got to a point where they had even the tiniest idea what I was talking about

att: "So I understand you are having problem with your email?"
me: "Yes, I am"

att: "Let me transfer you to a specialist that can help you."

Rinse and repeat for an hour!
8 agents later...

me: "do you know anything about the yahoo email unmerge?"

att: ... crickets

I wish it worked as well for me as you have described.  I have an sbcglobal.net account.  I am no longer able to access emails sent to my disposable email addresses, which end in yahoo.com.
