email accounts after yahoo merger with verizon

What changes might we expect after the sale of Yahoo to Verizon is final?

A number of years ago, I had a standalone YahooID and a standalone sbcglobal.net account. When ATT joined with Yahoo, I married those accounts together.  Now that ATT is separating from Yahoo, ATT is telling me to transfer all of my Yahoo settings to either an established YahooID or create a new YahooID. Will my original YahooID, the one I tied to my sbcglobal.net account "count" as an established YahooID, or will I have to create a completely new one?

Years ago, I had a separate yahoo email and worldnet.att.net. Then I had a separate yahoo, worldnet.att.net, and sbcglobal.net accounts. When ATT joined up with Yahoo, I married the yahoo account to my sbcglobal.net account.  I would log into myYahoo with my YahooID and be able to access both my yahoo.com email and my sbcglobal.net email in one place.

When I give out my email address, I either give my att.net address or my yahoo.com address. I generally don't give out my sbcglobal.net address, but ATT uses it as my ATT UserID, so ATT sends important email to the sbcglobal.net address.

Once ATT and Yahoo are completely separated what will happen to my sbcglobal.net email, and to my Yahoo.com email address and YahooID? Will my YahooID and yahoo.com address go back to being it's own thing, or will I have to abandon that particular YahooID and email address?  I really hate to lose that YahooID, I've been using it since 2001.

After 28 June can I still use www.yahoo.com to access my sbcglobal.net e-mail?

Will I have to make changes to my bellsouth.net email addresses (6 accounts) after June 30th when Verizon takes charge?

Your email tells us plenty of how we'll not have to worry about our AT&T Email and mentions making a NEW yahoo ID, but I can't find anywhere that clearly says what will happen to my Yahoo account that is currently merged with my AT&T account?

Will my yahoo email be handed over to and managed by yahoo, including my disposable email addresses? or will it be deleted or was it never managed by AT&T in the first place beyond sharing a password?

Will all my folders and emails stay with my yahoo email or will they move to AT&T or will both have copies?

Thanks!

It is true that after June 28, 2017 I will no longer have access on yahoo.com?

Although I have read that the Verizon change won't affect ATT Mail they stopped importing my emails from my bellsouth.net account. So I am confused...why are we being told that we can still use our ATT mail but they won't import emails???  That sounds like a change to me!!!  How do I import my external emails?

Once the yahoo access to email ends, will we still be able to access our historical att.net emails after Jun 28th if we've been using yahoo to access the emails?

I have a Yahoo ID that has always been linked to AT&T.  It seems that I'll be able to access flickr and Yahoo Fantasy sports with that ID but my question is more about my password which can only be accessed/changed through AT&T.  Is there any problem with that part of the equation?  Will these Yahoo sites stop accepting this password?
