Email access problem
I can sign into my email account, but when I click on the email icon I receive a message "SAML 2.0 authentication failed" followed by "FBTSML215E, The name identifier policy in the authentication request could not be met by this identity provider". My email does not display.

Hi There @erik2125
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We can help with that.
There are a couple of ways that we can work around this. Please try these steps.
Please let us know it either one of those steps work for you.

Thank you for the post. This is a work around and not a solution. What caused the problem and what is the eta for the permanent fix?

Same here. Even going to yahoo and logging in gives me the same error. Totally ridiculous coming from a company the size of AT&T!!

My mother in law has been in TEARS for over a week thinking she's done something to her computer, and I'm here to say, that this still being an issue is so very unacceptable. She's had a technician out here to her house for issues with the whole Uverse system, and ever since she's not been able to get in. I"d LOVE to know what the solution for this problem is.

That doesn’t fix the problem dude. I can’t even log in at yahoo. It doesn’t “recognize my email address”. You’re unmerging from them why are you still suggesting that we go through them to log into our emails?

Thats not a fix thats a temporary work around. AT&T needs to communicate with customers and those who have no choice but to your stuff.

This is not a fix but workaround. mail.yahoo.com sends the same error because sbcglobal.net is a AT&T acct.

Does anyone know why I can get into my email on my phone. . . .and my work computer (which doesn't matter anymore cuz I left the company). . .but my home computer gives me this stupid message:
FBTSML215E The name identifier policy in the authentication request could not be met by this identity provider.
What the heck? How do I get into my email on my computer. . .ya know. . .like a normal person!! I have to send out my resume. Please tell me Yahoo is fixing this so I can apply for a job?!!!!
