Deceased spouse managed out @swbell.net email addresses. How do I gain access to the account?
I'm asking this question on behalf of an elderly family friend that lost her husband last year. She can still send and receive emails at her @swbell.net email address, but she doesn't know the account credentials (i.e. - password). He was the account holder. She's unable to add her @swbell.net email address to the Mail program of her new cell phone. She has all the documentation (death certificate, will, etc) that AT&T might need to verify they can pass the account on to her, we just need to know what the procedure is/who to contact/etc.
Any assistance in pointing her in the right direction to get this handled would be greatly appreciated.
