Contacts do not add themselves to a contact list.

You may have an auto-add to contacts feature enabled.

Assuming e-mail (which you did not specify), what mail program are you using?

Sorry I’m using Yahoo mail. Searched privacy and security settings to no avail.

When you say "Yahoo mail," do you mean the Yahoo web interface (e.g. at https://currently.com ) or are you talking about an actual Yahoo App (such as the Android or IOS Yahoo Mail app)?

Using both. Seams like more ghost contacts on IOS. I have to use web to “block”.

I don't see it on the AT&T/Yahoo/Currently page, but I've read about a Contacts setting for Yahoo called "Enhance Contacts."  Does that show up in your Contacts setting either in the IOS app or the web page?  If so, is it enabled or disabled?

I think that setting got taken out even before they stopped letting you do automatic forwarding last year.  What you're seeing sounds exactly like how that feature worked back then, though.

I guess it wouldn't be surprising that Yahoo took the control out but didn't disable the feature if you already had enabled it.  Nothing surprises me about how Yahoo works.

They obviously did that for auto-forwarding on some folks, so, yeah.

Thank you for the updates. Guess I’ll have to live with it. I sent complaints in doubt it will do any good
