I recently signed up for TV, Internet and phone with a third party vendor at a Walmart. I was to be billed separately for TV at a rate of $89.99, internet 300 and unlimited landline at $60. When the technician came to install there was no phone service on the order. When he called in to check they offered a rate of $50. There must have been some confusion. The tech suggested I go to an AT&T office to redo the order. They couldn't match either offer. The rep. at Walmart said I would get TV (Choice Program) including HBO Max for two years; unlimited phone and internet 300. I would also get $100 gift card, no contract service, free installation and pay the cancellation fee. I've cancelled all the AT&T services and will mail the equipment back. My complaint is, if AT&T is having non-employee representatives sell product, there should be some guidelines and guarantees in place. I've wasted several hours trying to straighten this out, not to mention the afternoon with the tech.
