Hello. Unfortunately, I can't access my SBC email account from my laptop (I can access it from my iPhone). I receive the following alert. Please review and advise. Thanks.

Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.

Let's get you back into your email, @RCargile!

Just as the message recommends, we suggest you attempt to reset your password see if that grants you access. You can take these steps to do so:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

We look forward to hearing from you!

I get this error every few weeks when my original email login "expires" on my PC.  Password still works for my other devices, but not my PC.  I end up having to create yet another password for my email and changing it on all my devices.  I am quite certain the error (too many failed attempts) is incorrect - there's got to be some issue with the signin.att.com login after the 2 week sign-in period.
How do I overcome this so I don't have to keep changing my password like this?  Started happening many, many moons ago, and I'm at the end of my tolerance.

Help, please!
