Can't access my E-Mail

I moved to Germany a while back and thought I migrated all my log-ins from my att.net Email to my new Email. Today though, my Instagram got locked and I noticed, that the Email for my Instagram account was still my old att.net Email Address! You have since switched to User IDs and I can't log into my old Email address anymore to access the varification code from Instagram to unlock my account. 
Is there anything I can do to get access to this old Email address again?

Your user ID should be your full email address. like [email scrubbed]

it says this when I try logging in: "There have been too many failed sign in attempts. To get help, please use Forgot user ID or Forgot password links."

When I press "forgot User ID" or "forgot password" it redirects me to enter data, which I enter, and then I get this message "Something's gone wrong, please refresh the page and try again."

Try using a different browser. failing that you may need to contact AT&T for help resetting your password. While that might not be so simple from Germany, if you connect to wifi you might be able to call them without phone charges. When you click on forgot password it should give you the option to answer your questions if you remember the correct answers.
