Cannot sign into my sbcglobal.net email account
I'm unable to log into my sbcglobal.net email account. On the log in screen, when I enter my sbcglobal email address and click that I'm not a robot, it sends a verification code to the same account that I cannot get into. Last week I ended my landline and DSL service but thought AT&T lets you keep the email account. I'm unable to log in from different devices also. Additionally, hoping my email account wasn't hacked or something.

After spending a lot of time on the phone with AT&T representatives, dealing with static filled connections, and told numerous things from "it goes away with your DSL" to "I can fix that", I finally got it resolved.
The key was finding the correct person. The DSL representative got it figured out and restored my email as if it was never gone. Something about it being locked out due to an outstanding bill? We confirmed a zero balance (always paid in full over 30 plus years). The agent was extremely helpful and waited until I made sure my log in worked.
Long story short, they let you keep your "grandfathered" email address (sbcglobal. net, ameritech.net, etc.) after discontinuing all services with AT&T. The company is so huge, it might take a little effort but they honor letting you keep your email.
