Can we keep using our family's [email scrubbed] email address's if I cancel my DSL internet service?

I will soon pay off the bill in full and then cancel monthly services for Landline Voice and DSL Services.

What will happen to my family's  [email scrubbed] email accounts? 

The at&t DSL Pro Internet with it's laughable 3.0 megabits down and 0.5 megabits up transfer speeds isn't worth the money, when it works.  After 30 years of waiting in a City of Fresno neighborhood less than 3 miles from the Fresno Airport, the newer, aka 40 year old areas are still horribly underserved by at&t. 

After several years of hollow talk and empty promises I haven't heard of any planned fiber upgrades in the near future for my neighborhood that's still being served by buried/underground at&t copper landlines and DSL.

Under our AT&T Terms of Service, section 5: Termination or Cancellation of Service:

      • Unless otherwise specified, if you cancel your Service, your account ID email address will remain active, as will all email subaccounts you have created. The email accounts may be accessed via Currently, from AT&T.

We understand your desire to upgrade your service, and we are still in the process of expanding the network to provide the most coverage to our customers. You can access our Coverage Map or our Service Availability article where you can check availability at your address. Otherwise, you can fill out an address research request form, and we will notify you when Fiber is available at your location.
