Can not log in to my account

I am getting the message:  

Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.

This has been going on since October.  I really need to be able to login on my desk computer.  I need some important information from my email.  Please help immediately.
