bellsouth.net email box not working in Outlook AGAIN
My bellsouth.net email box in Outlook 2010 is giving this error:
Task 'firstname.lastname@example.org - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded: -ERR [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.' I've been getting this for a while (probably not more than 2 weeks, if that), prior to which it worked perfectly.
I have verified that I can get into it in webmail. (I HATE webmail!) I did have to change the password in webmail because it was "locked". I removed the Outlook mailbox and set it up again. I have verified multiple times that all settings are correct. This happens periodically and costs me a ridiculous amount of time to get it resolved each time. Sometimes it goes away by itself in a few days...sometimes it doesn't.
How can I resolve this without having to deal with customer service phone calls (again!)
Or is there a way to completely delete the mailbox in my ATT account, as I rarely use this one any more. (I have another that I should delete also.)
