att.net login problems

I am not able to get into my email account. After having this email account going through Yahoo for years, I suddenly get this message: Sorry, we don't recognize this email. I have called At&t customer service and was able to change my At&t password. Therefore, At&t said it wasn't their problem. They said that it was the internet service provider's issue (Yahoo). When I contacted Yahoo, they refuse to do anything stating that it's an At&t account?? Did anyones accounts just get deleted by Yahoo recently?

I am having the same problem with my bellsouth.net email account

 

I am not able to get into my email account. I have cleared cookies set up a new account on att.com and still no email access. Help thanks

I have cleared my cache and cookies many, many time and have been having problems for months accessing my @att.net email via att.net. Sometime I can logon, sometimes I can't - I get this AT&T error message. My AT&T account is closed but my @att.net email is still active, as confirmed by AT&T who told me my email will always be active and I can always logon at att.net. I have been having this issue on/off for months. WHY?   at&t

Yes, the issue is still happening as it has been for months. Many have posted the same issue, no solutions have been posted. AT&T gives the same canned reply to everyone, which clearly shows they aren't even reading the posts clearly describing the issue. The message everyone is getting is an AT&T error message, so IT IS an AT&T problem, which they have done nothing about. If the people reading these posts don't know how to fix it then they need to escalate it up the AT&T chain until they find someone at AT&T who does.

Yes, it's been happening for months, I have to try several times to log in, sometimes I can't logon for days.I get and AT&T error message so it is an AT&T issue - but they've done nothing about it except send everyone the same scripted reply which does not fix anything.

Yes, it's been happening for months. It's an AT&T issue as it's an AT&T error message. They have done nothing to fix it except send everyone the same canned/scripted reply which does nothing to fix their problem. The people reading these messages aren't Technicians and obviously aren't escalating this issue to anyone at AT&T who knows how to fix this - nothing in the scripted replies they send fix this issue.

July 13, 2019 I really didn't have issues until lately.   It is very sporadic and start happening when I moved and changed my street address.  It might go on for two or three days then I get in just once and then it wont let me in.   Very frustrating.   Just add it to the worst customer service in the business.

I started having the log in issue a few days ago. I go to att.net and put in the username and password, it would show a message Please make sure your username and password are correct and try again. I have spoken to many representatives in technical support and a couple of supervisors and each phone call was over an hour. The most helpful was one supervisor told me my username and password are fine since I can go on att.com.  Resetting the password does not resolve this issue. I got lucky that the supervisor guided me to set up my email on my Samsung phone. I still cannot go on a computer and log on att.net using a browser but I can access on my phone. IT iS VERY FRUATRATING NOBODY CAN TELL ME WHEN THIS ISSUE IS GOING TO RESOLVE.

Thanks for sharing your solution. I have been having the same problems when trying to log in from my computer, just keep getting redirected to reset my password after entering my att.net email. I will try to log in from my phone and see if it helps. I agree with others in this forum, this very frustrating.
