att.net email login

PS After signing in to my att.net email, I am redirected to the Yahoo login page. How do I get rid of the Yahoo login ? Can I just remove my name from the Yahoo account on the Yahoo login page and still access the att.net email  or will it cause other issues?

Hi @askafrage

We can answer that question for you. Even though that you email is managed by AT&T it is currently hosted by Yahoo for the time being.

If you have any more questions your are more then happy to reach back out here.

Didn't mean to cudo that, meant to tag it.Man Frustrated  I wish the ATTCares people would talk to each other.

A lot of people are getting that redirection.  It's a problem right now and no announcement has been made when it is going to be fixed.  It's appears to be affecting mainly legacy accounts (e.g. sbcglobal.net, pacbell.net, bellsouth.net, etc., i.e., any att domain other than att.net) and is somehow related to the unmergin of those accounts from yahoo.  Att and yahoo screwed that up and I believe they are going back "in" to try to fix it thus causing even more problems.

If you can figure out how to change your account password I suggest you try that.  That fixes the problem for some people but no guarantees.

Note yahoo is att's email service provider (unfortunately).  But it shouldn't be necessary to log into both.  The att/yahoo login should be presented and when you log in there it should go to the att/yahoo webmail, not redirected to a yahoo login.

AT&T and Yahoo must have resolved the issue.  I am no longer directed to yahoo sign in after signing in to att.net.

I had a scan done on computer to clean up junk on my laptop and now I am again being redirected to yahoo login after signing in on att.net login. This issue was corrected until this scan was done.  Can this be corrected again??
