ATT.NET email have stopped working.
Is there something going on with the att.net emails? I have two email accounts with att.net. None are able to log in. I've been using those two email accounts for many, many years. I'm in the military and is currently deployed. The emails I have been using are very important to me and it is also very difficult to try and resolve the issue overseas. Did AT&T deleted my accounts? What's going on? I've done all the research and tried many different routes. Password reset and everything. There's no way to contact anyone in regards to the issue. What do I need to do? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? It started a couple days ago. I haven't done any changes my account. The reason I use att.net email was because I use to have AT&T as a provider. I'm not sure where to set this post because there is no specific post for email issues. Please help!

Problem solved! Forever everyone that's having issue with their emails. I know how stressful the situation is. Something happened with the AT&T system and messed up a lot of email accounts. Dont even bother trying to reset your password or going through all the help and support online through forums because you'll just be stuck in a loop. Security question asked during the password reset doesnt work, you'll just end up locking your account for no reason. What I did was contacted tech support over the phone. If you don't have an account with them, just keep pressing zero till you can get through. You'll need to identify yourself and provide the zip code from when you had the account. Tech support will give you a temporary password over the phone. Hopefully this will help everyone that's having problems. Good luck.

Try calling the Digital Assistance Center (877-273-2728) instead.

I tried calling the Digital Assistance Center 4 times over the course of a month so far with no success. My husband's email has not functioned for almost a month. He can log into att.net without problem but when he clicks the mail icon he gets another login screen asking for the user ID again but not the password. User ID is entered and "continue" is selected. Then he gets a screen titled "Forgot User ID / Password" with the opportunity to either select "forgot password", "forgot user id", or "forgot both password and user id". It doesn't do any good to reset the password as these same series of events will just repeat over and over again. When I contacted the Digital Assistance Center the first time, I was told someone would call me back the next day. that didn't happen. The second time, I was told my case would be escalated but I was not given a help ticket number. For days, we heard nothing and email still didn't work. I called again, supposedly the case was escalated again and I was told that the department that the case was escalated to would call me within 24 to 48 hours. Nothing. I called again. Each time I called, I was told that the problem I was experiencing was a known issue that was being worked on. Interesting enough, I have this problem happen on at least 3, if not 4 other times over the last couple of years. This time just happens to be the longest outage. Today, when I called, I was told that this is a known issue and it could not have been escalated because it was not an issue they would escalate because it is a known issue. So I guess I just made that part up ! In addition today, I was told that the Digital Assistance Center could not help me, that the problem would have to "fix itself" (I heard that a number of times), and I would just have to keep trying the email account. I was told that the technical folks were working on the problem but there was no eta for being fixed. I bet that if I was a corporation, this would never happen. I've never had such conflicting statements from customer service representatives, and such poor service from a company.
