0x800CCC0E Error- Outlook
First- I CAN connect to webmail and all settings are correct because I CAN receive email via outlook. The problem is that it keeps dropping the connection/timing out/going to sleep throughout the day. I work from home some days and see it happen all day long. The only way I know I have new mail is my phone notification will go off...but nothing comes to outlook.
I've seen other posts on this but no answers/solutions. I realize this is an issue with Outlook but it's an issue between Outlook AND AT&T because the mail IS flowing and does come through. I just have to jump through hoops that I shouldn't have to in order to get mail to flow.
Outlook 2010. Win10
- I can log into webmail.
- Have tried secure mail key (SMK)
- Have verified all settings between outlook and ATT site multiple times, including all ports, SSL, etc. but this seems irrelevant because mail does come though.
- I CAN receive mail via outlook...just not every time.
- I have 2 other mail accounts in outlook (gmail and exchange account) and both work fine, every time, without fail.
If I close outlook, then re-open it, mail flows THE FIRST TIME. After that, I have to repeat the above steps.
If I'm on my inbox and hit send/receive, I get the 0x800CCC0E error. Mailbox shows disconnected.
If I change to a sub-folder inside of my inbox and hit send/receive, the mail flows. A few minutes later, from my inbox...error
AT&T support wanted me to call Microsoft for help!?!? (Gee...I wonder if I could ever get through...and if they'll say it's an AT&T issue???)
