Want to cancel DSL NOW!
On 5/29 I spoke with Carlos in retention regarding repeat multiday outages of my DSL service and the bill going up $6. He apologized and made the following offer. He would credit me $42 and change for the service interruption and reinstate the expired credit. He stated it would take 24 hours for the $42 to show. I checked back at 24 hours, it didn't show so I decided to pay the bill as I didn't want any late charges.
I just got my bill and surprise surprise no $42 credit and my bill increased by $20. Amazingly I did get the $6 credit though.
I called the main number and was basically told there were no promotional programs anymore. If I canceled my dsl I'd never get it back. Further, I'd lose my phone number - no loss since all I get are spam calls.
I asked to be transferred to do the cancelation since the supervisor said he couldn't do it.
I was transferred to U-verse who of course can't do DSL. He transferred me to the ?correct? department where I got a message to call during regular business hours. IT WAS 6:00 pm on a THURSDAY.
I am over ATT with its broken promises and only want to cancel ALL services.
