Visa rewards ($300) offered online not available in AT&T store
As a new customer, I signed up for U-Family and Internet 100 online, which made me eligible for three $100 AT&T Visa Reward Cards. However, after successfully ordering and scheduling the date with a technician, I would receive an email message from AT&T that "the address you gave us already has our service under a different customer's name" and that they couldn't set it up. The previous tenant and apartment manager were stumped for resolution despite personally calling AT&T.
After a week of frustration online and with customer service reps, I went into the store where they had to place a manual order and setup. However, they couldn't honor the online offer of three $100 AT&T Visa Reward Cards (they could do one $100 card but this is a $200 difference!).
Has anyone experienced and resolved this? It seems crazy that I'm penalized for a technical issue on AT&T's side.

We understand that you tried to do your order online to get the 300.00 reward cared, but there was an order and it didn't go through, so you went to the store and redid your order, but they could not honor the online promotion.
That is correct, our retail stores are unable to honor the eCommerce(online promotions), because special code, that is built in to the online order. Now we can check to see what we can do about getting the other 200.00.
