Trying to upgrade DSL to Unlimited Data

I have seen the option to upgrade my ATT DSL to Unlimited Data for an extra $30 per month on top of my regular service. However, every time I have called the (800) 288-2020, I have been sent on a transfer loop that ends back at the automated assistant as the representatives say that they are unable to help and need to transfer me to someone who can. Is there an actual way to upgrade my service?

Do you have legacy DSL with 150G data cap? IF yes, there is no unlimited option.

Do you have Uverse xDSL (ADSL2+ or VDSL) with 1T data cap? IF yes, then unlimited is available by either bundling DirecTv, Uverse IPTV with internet package or subscribe (SALES) to unlimited for the extra $30 per month.

If have Fixed Wireless or mobility hotspot the $30 unlimited is not an option.

About 60 million addresses (80%) within the 21 state footprint will have the unlimited option, around 15 million (20%) will not in my estimate.
