Slow Internet Very Slow

Internet always lower then 5mb/s most of the time below 1mb/s but pay for 50mb/s internet. Have had replacement modems and technicians come out to move the wiring to a more stable location in the mid range of the house. Still horrible internet. Modems they replace are just the same modems. This has been going on for many years and it is very very very frustrating.

We definitely want you to establish stable internet, lets take a look into your connection speeds @iSeniKen!

Perform a hard factory reset on your current modem, then run a speed test using a wired connection if possible.

  • Check to make sure you are not running too many devices. 
  • What model is your modem device?
  • Clear away any interferences around the equipment, and make sure it is placed on a flat surface.

are you referring to slow internet or slow wifi/wireless internet? 2 very different things.
