Property Damage, Claim submitted to Sedgwick and no response
I put in a claim, months ago and it went to Sedgwick. I'm following all of their processes but they have since stopped returning my calls. everything always go to some voicemail. I'm jumping through hoops on something that should have been simple and taken care of immediately. My claim number is *****. The claims examiner is named Jasmine ***** and her phone number is *****. I've also contacted that Sedgwick at their customer service line...during business hours and got a recording that stated there was no one available, then the recorded states the business hours and I was well within that. I've submitted all the requested documentation; the statement, photos and the bill for the contractor that had to come and do the repairs. The most ridiculous thing about this is that I had to submit all of this via the US Postal service. its 2018 and a telecom company is asking to use mail to submit claims? Its clear this is a purposeful tactic to get people frustrated so they just drop their claims. I'm extremely frustrated. the number of times I have had to call someone regarding this is outrageous!

I'm just going to get it fixed by a plumber and take ATT to smalls claims court, then. There's no reason to think my experience will end up different than everyone else's. The longer this goes on, the worse the water bill hit will be. Thanks.

How did you get to speak to a live person in Risk Mgt.
ATT Tech was running cables in the neighborhood
a number of homes experienced a power issue
I spoke with Technician
Technician advised to submit a claim
Technician did not report the issue
Sedgwick could not proceed
I am NOT an ATT Subscriber
Left multiple msg on Risk Mgt line
No Response

The phone numbers on ATT's forms page that I was directed to by a social media specialist are ALL out of service.
I will try to call Sedwick one time and if not it sounds like legal action is the best Plan B.

@AggOwl you will probably be better off taking them to court if you have the resources to do so. It sounds like this is all a setup to avoid paying and frustrate people into giving up.

Wow, this whole situation is what I am concerned about the more I read. Just had another ATT tech out to fix the phone line still not working after the other damaged it and caused $300+ fence damage burying the fiber. Claim submitted, offer from Sedgwick of only $120. Now, despite NUMEROUS emails, VMs, etc no responses whatsoever.
If ATT is unwilling to stay accountable when their liability company is not, I’m going back to my other provider!! This is ABSURD and the debacle, frustration, and massive inconvenience I have already been through due to ATT has been outrageous!!

Well, well, well. A lot of similarities here. AT&T ruptured my sewage line installing fiber cable. My sewage line keeps getting backed up. Same thing, opened a claim with Sedgwick on 12/14/2021. Jasmine is my claims adjuster. SMH. Guess what? it's now 01/06/2022 and crickets. My claim is open and i'm able to log in and see all the documents i've uploaded. But she hasn't responded to any of my messages, emails nor Voicemails.

I am having the same issues! @ATTHelp
I left multiple vms, the website does not recognize the claim number, no one will return my call. ON 02/17/2022 - called again, reached "Joe" in a different area of the phone tree (I tried to reach a person), he sent an email to the regional manager of the claim while we were on the phone, asking for someone to call me and stated that within 24-48 hours someone should contact me. NO ONE HAS contacted me. Please assist @ATTHelp

Once a claim is filed, it is out of AT&T's hands.

At & t put a line in my house and per a supervisor that came out and looked at the work reported that the initial tech did not use the proper clips for siding outside of the house and now it looks like trailer trash with white cable running up the side of my house. The supervisor filed a claim with Sedgwick. We are going on 6 months. No contact, no discussions from them and I just found out the claim was denied. I am appalled at the service and want more information and want my siding fixed. Where can I go and who can I talk to up the chain of command to get some care.

This is a 4 year old topic and the report process has changed. Don't know why they'd need to open a property damage claim because of shoddy workmenship, they just need to send a tech out to correct it. How to file a property damage claim. Call the main report number at the voice prompt say "cancel service" even though you're not, that will get you to reps that will have more authority to get this corrected. I'm closing this old topic to further posting, if you need more information please open your own topic.
