Property Damage, Claim submitted to Sedgwick and no response
I put in a claim, months ago and it went to Sedgwick. I'm following all of their processes but they have since stopped returning my calls. everything always go to some voicemail. I'm jumping through hoops on something that should have been simple and taken care of immediately. My claim number is *****. The claims examiner is named Jasmine ***** and her phone number is *****. I've also contacted that Sedgwick at their customer service line...during business hours and got a recording that stated there was no one available, then the recorded states the business hours and I was well within that. I've submitted all the requested documentation; the statement, photos and the bill for the contractor that had to come and do the repairs. The most ridiculous thing about this is that I had to submit all of this via the US Postal service. its 2018 and a telecom company is asking to use mail to submit claims? Its clear this is a purposeful tactic to get people frustrated so they just drop their claims. I'm extremely frustrated. the number of times I have had to call someone regarding this is outrageous!

This is a 4 year old topic and the contact information has changed. Here's a link on how to report a damage claim.
This is the new contact information:
Claims Management Services - 855-365-4976
Option 1 - Check on existing claim
Option 2 - Speak to AT&T CC for service related issues
Option 3 - Start a new property damage claim
Existing claims can also be checked via portal www.mysedgwick.com
Closing this topic to further posting.

Good morning @impex380,
I am sorry to hear you are having issues with Sedgwick. They are usually quite good at following up with their claims. I will do my best to assist you.
I will refer you to their website which is https://www.sedgwick.com/. There you will be able to check your claim status and you can also chat with them by clicking on the blue “Chat with us” link.

Thanks for replying. I tried to register and check my claim myself but after I entered my information it said it needed my claim number. I entered the claim number and that didn't satisfy the process either. and before its asked, yes, I did verify all the correct info. Tried their chat next, its nothing but an automated serviced with some simplistic algorithms that basically direct you back to the registration process. so, please spare me their website as a solution. I want answers! You sent off this claim to a third party, you hold them accountable. I have a person that after I threatened to escalate the issue lie about how "I've tried to contact you multiple times but your voicemail is not set up", she said VIA MY VOICEMAIL! Do me a favor and actually look at my issue that has been outstanding for three quarters of a year.

Hi, I attempted to do what was said in the private message, which was to contact Risk Management with the number provided. I followed the prompts to investigate the existing claim, and I was directed to Segdwick's voicemail service. I'm still waiting on call backs from the 3 messages I have left in the general mailbox. When I was previously able to get a hole of them, the claim rep lies about not being able to leave me voicemails and her supervisor refuses to connect me with another rep, stating that the current claim rep is one of her best. If her best rep is a liar that indicates a problem to me.
Anyway, I attemped to get a hold of risk management by being more resourceful than the responder here. I talked to a rep on the risk management team on 4/2/18. She stated that my claim was reported correctly but that it was filed incorrectly. She also stated that my claim was closed by Sedgwick. This the opposite of the last statement that Sedgwick gave me, which was that my claim was turned over to AT&T risk management, upper management. She was about to connect me with the supervisor at Sedgwick, I refused stating my reasons listed above. She then attempted to connect me with the presidents office ( I don't know where). I was connected to a line recording that said that it was the office of the president but it was only a recording and there was no way to leave a message.
WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY CLAIM?!?!?!?!?!

Good evening, I have the same problem with the same person in Sedgwick "Jasmine Baskin" and never received answer. Could you solve your claim?
I wrote a lot of times and I don't know what can I do.
My claim number doesn't work in the website and nobody answer my calls.
Is insane that a company like AT&T leave their customers completely alone in this kind of processes for damages caused by themselves.

Jasmine pulls this constant bullsh*t and says “I’m sorry I tried to call but your voicemail was full”. She is useless and her boss backs her up. Later I found out they dropped my claim months prior and said that it was filed wrong. Not by me, by them. I never followed up after that. It was fruitless effort after months long run around. Only suggestion is to try submitting something through the better business bureau... might be worth a shot. It’s worked for me with other things

Today I wrote one more time and I received an automatic response that she's on vacations, LOL.
I think that all this can be a simple fraud sponsored by the same company that we trust and they expect is that we do not waste more time trying to recover our money.
Thanks for your answer

I am having the same lack of response from Sedgewick. My goodness. Last contact I had with my rep was two weeks ago saying they had escalated the issue to find the company that did the digging. That was two weeks ago! I multiple calls last week went unanswered, messages left unresponded to. AT&T's Risk Management entered something in their system that they said required Sedgewick to respond to me. Still nothing. My claim is three weeks old and I still don't know where we are on it. Meanwhile the leak in my water main is getting worse. I need a call back!

You are stuck in the Sedgwick black hole. They did that to me too, “contact the company” they sub out too then they will send them out to take pictures well after the fact which proves nothing except drawing out the claims process and get you frustrated so you give up. ATT created a process loop to gaurentee they never have to pay out on claims. It’s bullshot and they know it. My only suggestion is to get as much documentation you can and take it to the Better Business Bureau. Also, Just cause I can’t say it enough, Jasmine and her fellows at Sedgwick are liars and con artists
