Net Buddy - AT&T Accounts Sell Off

I currently go through Net Buddy to gain internet through AT&T's cell towers and my plan is expiring next week. Net Buddy is offering to sell my account over to AT&T for $200 so that I can continue my current plan directly with AT&T for $34.99. If I do not switch my plan over, then I will not have internet and will not be able to work.

Does anyone have any more information about the Net Buddy Account Sell Off and if I will still be able to have truly unlimited data through AT&T?

This is an urgent matter! My girlfriend and I work remotely full time and rely on this service to do so.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @jtk111,

Thanks for reaching out! Allow us to assist you.

We have several options for you if you'd like to continue service with us. These options range from using a mobile hotspot, or using our fixed wireless service. Please let us know the details of the service you currently have, as you mentioned you want to keep the same plan.

Despite these offers, we recommend reaching out to the Net Buddy support team for information on how the transition works. Thank you!

I have tried reaching out to Net Buddy for help with little luck. I figured since I would be switching over to AT&T directly, I might be able to find more out from the AT&T side.

@jtk111

I am in the same boat I've had Netbuddy for awhile and I use it for work. I got the notice and cannot purchase the sell off Netbuddy website states unavailable and they have not replied to my emails. Mine is URGENT also, plus my account states I have until the 18th but my services was actually shut off 2 days ago. I need solution also. We only need our SIM cards reactivated to continue. RRRRRRR

@dawnh After checking repeatedly over the past few days, I woke up on Tuesday around 10am EST and was able to activate a new SIM card for $65 a month.

I guess they have their times wrong on their site. I recommend trying to check multiple times throughout the day and hopefully it will become available for you too. - fingers crossed -

No problem! I hope you have some luck. When NetBuddy works its awesome, but when they turn your service off early it stinks :/
