Locked credit accounts

I unlocked all my credit agency accounts (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) yet when AT &T tries to check my credit, they are told they are locked. I double check each account with each agency and each clearly states it is unlocked. What's up?

I have wasted 2 evenings this week with this mess, hoping to set up internet.

Is there a delay in AT&T getting updated info?

I am having a terrible time with AT&T. We signed up for seven phones in July they were set up wrong by a person at a big box store. We immediately returned and canceled. It is not November and I cannot open credit with AT&T my credit scores in the 780s. ATT tells me I’m only eligible for three phones with a significant down payment. Before I was eligible for 10 I don’t have a seven and I can’t seem to straighten it out anybody have any ideas. I’m passed from one person to another that doesn’t understand me or my problem they just want to go and run my credit (we’re on 10 credit checks now!!)and try to open account again and again and again I’ve talk to the credit bureau and have gotten a clean bill of health as far as my credit goes.

@tonydi The original year old post was in the right forum. I am moving it back and closing the thread.

@ballmomof5 Please start your own thread in the wireless forum.
