Internet 18 & Future Availability
I'm moving into an area where, according to both the availability tool on the website and the customer service line, Internet 18 is the only service that is available. As a result, I have a few of questions that the customer service rep I talked and the rep at the retail store was unable to answer:
- Does AT&T make public their development roadmap? The location I'm moving is just a couple of miles from AT&T fiber availability. Is there any way to know if and when AT&T intends to upgrade infrastructure in surrounding areas?
- AT&T is the only service provider in this neighborhood of 75 houses. Would AT&T be willing to build out fiber in the neighborhood if enough customers expressed interest in fiber? If so, what's the interest threshold and process for requesting increased service?
- Can Internet 18 be double bonded to increase speed for an increased cost?
