My husband and I was approached by a employee working at a sams club a about AT&T cell phones. Sounded like good deal and signed up and had 14 days to Cancelled which we did due to own to must on phones. So called customer service and they said go to a corporate store to return. We went there Sunday nov29th and was the first customer of the day. The female that worked there unlock the door to open and we told. Her what we wanted to do and she had a bad attitude. Did get her name but it was the valley mall Hagerstown store she wore round glasses. She said right away that we couldn’t return the phones there and I told her we called at&t 800 and they said we had to go to a corporate store to return. My husband and I both said that we was to,s to come there and in the mean time the manager of the store chimed in and was so rude and said hey I’m the manager and we don’t do returns here and I will charge you $55 per phones to do it. And he kept on saying it and was the meanest tone. My husband and I just walked out and clawed the 800 number again. We will never use at&t due to the disrespect that happen I didn’t get then manager name but this all happened Sunday November 27th noon at the valley mall in Hagerstown Maryland. 
thus manager was certainly and young ignorant person.

Sams club sales are not AT&T or AT&T employees take it up with sams club.

It wasn’t a Sam’s Club member we were told to go to a store and it was the actual AT&T store in Hagerstown Maryland it was the manager he was very very rude so now I’m taking up with AT&T not with Sam’s Club who that who that said that so I just responded to that

I was clearly informed, in writing, at the time I opened an account with you, that there would be no charge for the whole of the first year. Was that a blatant lie then, or are you just incompetent to the extent of criminal negligence now?

 

Well, I too can make threats. First, I will never ever pay this extortionate and clearly illegal "bill". Secon d, if you make trouble. I will see you all in court in court, before a Texas jury. If I find that you have played this criminal scam on others, it will be a (Edited per community guidelines)/. Think carefully and consult your lawyers before you reply, before noon tomorrow.

It is almost impossible to find a way to negotiate this most Byzantine. almost mandarin or Soviet or Kafkean, system . which will enable one to file a reasonable complaint about threatening, abusive, and probably criminal behaviour by the billing department, at least at the level of criminal negligence. As I suppose that I am not being individually targetted, there will be grounds for a (Edited per community guidelines). Last night I spent 40 minutes, getting nowhere. Today, fortified by my experience of the previous day, though, not, alas by a night's sleep, a further 40 minutes' work brought me here.

I am going through such a hard time right now and need to set up a payment arrangement on my phone bill but the system will not let me. I called and spoke to someone about my situation and they just acted like nothing could be done. I understand that I haven’t fallen through with the last few payment arrangements but the bill has always gotten paid with all last charges. I don’t understand why it will not allow me to do so. This is such an inconvenience I just paid 315.00 yesterday to pay the bill. T mobile would never do me this way. Switching to AT&T has been the biggest mistake I have made in a while they are not here to help their customers at all.
