Does anyone know if DSL is going to be suspended in Charlotte, NC in the near future ? Can't get a definitive answer from customer service.

I doubt you can get a definite answer from anyone as there's no deadline been set. AT&T is phasing out traditional phone service, which DSL over the phone line is part of. So, it will eventually go away, when is anybody's guess.
