Data Traffic Slow Down
I attend races several times a year at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course, 7721 Steam Corners Rd, Lexington, OH 44904. AT&T service is slow to non-existent during races which I suspect is due to heavy traffic. This renders all my race monitoring apps worthless. My family and friends who have Verizon service have no issue with service slow down because there is a Verizon tower at the track. Will you be installing a tower near the track soon? I asked this same question last year but received no response and service was non-existence during a recent race weekend. Should I just switch to Verizon?

Greetings @mowreyp!
Allow us to assist. While our sources show no interruption of service in that particular area we invite you to view an approximation of network coverage in that specific ZIP code using AT&T Coverage Map.
Use our Device Support tool to follow steps to resolve your experience. After signing in to your AT&T account, simply select Service/network issues then select Phone Calls.
Also, use our AT&T Mark the Spot app to find if there are reports of similar experiences in that area. You may also file a report which will provide details of your network experience.
We hope this info helps.

access the internet. During races, I cannot do so. That's why I suspect
that it's the high volume of use by the thousands of folks at the track. I
have service early and late in the day but not during races. It's been that
way during the several race weekends per year since I've had AT&T service.
It wasn't so bad when I had Verizon service.

Good morning, @mowreyp. Checking out the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course out in Troy Township - our coverage is good. You are right though - when 10 to 15 thousand fans show up you may experience some network congestion resulting in slow data.
Getting back you your original question - AT&T Towers is the place to get more information on sites available for collocation. Also we encourage you to check out Our commitment to improving connectivity, and our vision for 5G.
