Cheater Representatives & Cancelling Subscription

I went to AT&T store in State Street, Madison, WI on 23rd Aug to select Internet service for my new apartment.

The representative has told me that if I enrol into the $50/mo ATT TV NOW plan, I can have the remission of the $100 installation fee. The representative also reminded me that this $50 includes Internet service. I confirmed several times that I can cancel this service after this month's subscription and return to normal Internet plan.

I also confirmed several times with the representative that I only need to pay $50 for Aug-Sep, with the TV service and including the Internet services. HOWEVER, my credit was deducted by $60 for the Internet (I NEVER SAID I WANT THAT PLAN), which is supposed to be included in that $50. Moreover, this afternoon I received a notification that another $50 was deducted from my credit card for TV services. Hence I pay in a total $110 a month.

So the thing is:

  1. The representatives promised that they would set me into the $40 monthly Internet plan (after the first month). But they DID NOT.
  2. Instead, they deliberately put me into the $60 monthly plan immediately without my permission.
  3. The representatives promised that I only need to pay $50 for this month. But my account was automatically deducted by $110.
  4. I need a refund for either or both of the services for it is not my fault but the cheating behavior of these representatives. Totally unsatisfied with this store.
